Program Description

Body

Join us for this rainwater collection workshop with the PA Resources Council!

Workshop participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roofs, store it, and use it in the landscape. You will also learn how to reduce your contribution to combined sewer overflow (CSO), flooding, and polluted urban runoff by learning how to practice watershed protection and conservation in their own backyards. It’s easier than you think!  Registrants may also choose to purchase a FreeGarden RAIN barrel (click for spec. sheet) with their workshop ticket. This barrel has a 55-gallon capacity and is ideal for urban and suburban areas.

The cost is $20 for the workshop alone, or $80 for the workshop plus rain barrel. Rain barrels will be distributed in the parking lot at the end of the workshop.

Thank you for supporting a waste-free Pennsylvania!
